This 5-day, 4-night adventure tour invites travelers to explore three active volcanoes in East Java, Indonesia: Mount Bromo, Mount Raung, and Mount Ijen.
Our team will pick you up from your hotel, airport, or train station in either Malang or Surabaya.
The journey begins with a thrilling jeep adventure to catch the sunrise from the classic Mount Pananjakan viewpoint, followed by an exploration of the iconic Bromo crater. The adventure continues with a challenging trek to Mount Raung via the classical Sumber Wringin route, where trekkers will witness a spectacular sunrise from the summit.
The final destination is Mount Ijen, famous for its turquoise acidic crater lake, the rare blue flame phenomenon, and the incredible sulfur miners who carry heavy loads up from the crater floor.

🗓 Day 1 – Bromo Sunrise & Transfer to Bondowoso
- 00:00 – Pick up from hotel in Malang or Surabaya.
- Drive to the jeep transfer point.
- Ride by jeep to Pananjakan View Point, Kingkong Hill, or similar sunrise spots.
- Witness the spectacular sunrise over Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park.
- Explore and trek up to Mount Bromo crater.
- Return to hotel for breakfast, shower, and check-out.
- Drive to Bondowoso.
- Check in at hotel & rest overnight.
🗓 Day 2 – Mount Ijen & Transfer to Bali
- 00:00 – Drive to Paltuding Post, the starting point for the Ijen trek.
- Trek up to Ijen Crater.
- Descend to the crater floor to witness the blue flame phenomenon.
- Return to the crater rim for sunrise views (if time permits).
- Descend back to Paltuding.
- Visit local plantations along the journey.
- Drive to Ketapang Ferry Port, cross by ferry to Bali Island.

- Drive to hotel near Mount Bromo for check-in and rest
- Day 2
- Early morning jeep ride to Mount Pananjakan viewpoint to catch the sunrise
- Explore the iconic dry crater of Mount Bromo
- Return to hotel for breakfast, shower, and preparation
- Drive to Bondowoso for overnight stay
- Day 3
- 04:00 – Drive to Sumber Wringin basecamp
- 05:00 – Briefing and breakfast
- 06:00 – Ride motorbike to Pondok Ojek
- Trek to Pondok Sumur
- Continue trekking to Pondok Tonyok, Pondok Demit, and Pondok Mayit
- Set up camp and overnight at Pondok Mayit
- Day 4
- 03:30 – Early morning summit trek to Mount Raung
- Enjoy sunrise from the summit of Mount Raung
- Return to campsite for breakfast
- Descend back to Pondok Ojek, then ride to Sumber Wringin basecamp
- Take a shower and rest
- Drive to a guesthouse located in the middle of a coffee plantation
- Day 5
- 01:00 – Drive to Paltuding Post (Mount Ijen)
- Trek up to Ijen crater and descend to see the blue flame
- Return to Paltuding Post
- Drive to Ketapang Ferry Port and cross by ferry to Bali
- Drop off at your hotel in Bali — End of tour
